The Ball is something that has been kept underground because individuality isn’t accepted by everyone!

We flaunt what we have,

catwalk, vogue, and pose.

A form of art not yet accepted,

Though greatly recognized underground.

As many more become aware,

Some just stop and stare.

As men turn into ladies and vice versa,

People tend to force judgement.

For this artwork has a personality of it’s own,

Freely expressing individuality, and who we want to be.

    You’re absolutely right in your sub-title…but I think it’s more like no-one rather than everyone : )
People often ask me in a sarcastic tone, “what is freedom?”…
The answer to this is there is no answer…but for this particular poem freedom is being able to be who one wants to be…not what everyone else wants them to be…

Great Poem Ashley…another of my favourites : ))

Freedom to be who you are is freedom to be who you are. It seems so simple.
