A poem by me.

She lived happy and he was fine

the love of his dreams was with her

down the roads they walked

hours went by and staring in each others eyes

they just long forever talked

He was the underdog and she the popular girl

love was always alive and never took a turn

a year passed by and the two and then many

they stayed together for they knew

love was all they needed

A love so strong that can work out the devil

a love so strong that can overcome mountains

a love so warm that could destroy the evil palm

a love they always needed a love they always wanted

a feeling it was of security

of care, of trust, of everlong

a feeling it was

there love so strong

He was always there when she need him

she was always there to help him smile

forever they promised they’ll be fine

One day it was over

she said she didnt want him anymore

maybe “ill be ok” was what she wanted him to say

and with a slight smile he said “its ok”

he looked back twice expecting her to call

he look back expecting her to take his name

she did not, and his heart fell in vain

he never knew what she felt like

he never knew if she still cared

he never thought if shell again call

cuz he was inside dead and undergoing a fall

She on the other hand found his picture in her phone

she found his letters that had grown old

she saw his eyes while she fell asleep

and when she woke up she cried!

a week passed by, she wept and wept and missed all those times

then she picked up her phone and walked in circles

mesmerising how they talked for long hours

how they spent the night together with open heart doors

She gave him a call

and then again

and then again

no one answered

She understood the anger but she never thought he’d do this

she understood the pain but she remembered her first kiss

Waking up from thoughts of love, she gives him a call again

the phone ring ends and the call is on!

no one replied to her hello, she said hello again

She felt someone cryin, someone dying inside in pain

“hello, look i know you are sad but i called to apologize

i called to say i am sorry

cuz in the day i see you behind me

i feel your touch

at night i want you to hold me tight

i want you to be there

I miss you

give me another chance & ill be there for you”

She heard a voice crying, a shrill

a painful echo that said “hes no more, hes gone, he attempted suicide”

and then the phone from both the ends fell down

gushes of tears squeeze out from her eyes

She falls to her knees and looks at his smiling face in a picture in her phone

in the picture he appeared to be saying – i love you

he appeared to be saying – i am sorry girl

he appeared to be saying – you were my world

She cried all her night long

realizing sometimes it is too late

sometimes it is too late to tell someone you love them

to tell someone

to tell someone you miss them

to tell someone you were wrong
