English love sonnet.

A fine spring day when she arrived for me
The scent of jasmine caught me unaware
Of all the meaning that was waiting there
It took my soul to teach my eyes to see

The only words were those within her stare
Which whispered scents of what was yet to be
Of promises of dreams to set me free
To join the jasmine floating in the air

The years of questions I just let them pass
That she still cared is all I need to know
This thing called love I’ll never understand

And there as tears and jasmine did amass
She turned to me and said it’s time to go
And with a final kiss I took her hand

Gorgeous. I thought this was going to be about the climbing plant – but it’s about a girl. Fabulous. Hope you’re well Martin.
