Why some people can’t laugh.

There once was a serious student

Whose bearing was mirthless and prudent.

Though himself he did tickle,

His laugh was too fickle

And rejected the serious student.

    For sure, serious students rarely crack laughters wantonly! Theirs is academia and that is a subject very distant from jokes and laughter!
