The Lord is our Shepherd and takes care of us like a Shepherd takes care of his sheep.
The Lord is the mighty Shepherd.
The Shepherd of all the hills and plains.
To the herd he is their master – having procured their devotion.
In the midst of hungry wolves the Lord is steadfast and ready.
Ready to pluck his beloved sheep out of the mouth of the enemy,
leading them to safety.
With his voice he can move mountains.
Declaring that he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The destiny of each faithful sheep lies in his hands,
the mighty hands of the Shepherd.
His love and protection he willingly gives to those that follow him.
