All the good little girls and boys, cuddle into bed with pillows and toys…

Mommy and daddy turn down the lights
And wish their angels sweet dreams and goodnight.

Some have good dreams filled with joy and light.
Some have bad ones filled with sorrow and fright.
But even in dreams, heroes can be found.
So listen to my tale of The Sheriff of Sleepytown.

Sheriff Amanda is the law in the land
With Deputy Logan, to give her a hand,
Watching over the good girls and boys,
Guarding their dreams of candy and toys.

Said Sheriff Amanda with the sweetest of grins,
“We’ll ride to the ready when trouble begins.”
We keep our eyes open for the bad Nightmare Gang.
“We know you’ll protect us,” the young dreamers sang.

No other lawman had ever been like,
Sleepytown’s sheriff patrolling by bike.
The Sleepytown dreamers decided to race,
And soon bikes of all kinds filled the place.

The boys played tag, and the little girls sang,
Sheriff Amanda kept a lookout for the Nightmare Gang.

Deputy Logan joined the chorus and sang along,
“Bad dreams in Sleepytown just don’t belong.”
But off in the distance came a terrible sight,
And the poor little dreamers were filled with fright.

Into the haven the Nightmare Gang came,
Screaming and yelling, acting insane.
Sweet dreams from the children they intended to steal,
But Sheriff Amanda stood tall, proud and still.

Magic floodlights she ordered to banish the night,
And Sleepytown’s streets were bathed in Christmassy light.
The bandits all shivered and tried to run.
From the magical brightness like the sun.

The gang all vanished to the children’s delight.
Now Sleepytown could enjoy another restful night.
Back into the shadows the gang members fled,
Sheriff Amanda just smiled and shook her head.

“Thank you, Sheriff Amanda,” the children all sang,
“Let’s hope,” said Logan “That’s the last of the Nightmare Gang.
Not so simply she thought to dispell the band.
And free the dreamers of Sleepytown land.

She held no hope the bandits would learn.
To stay away from Sleepytown and never return.
The dreamers were safe and now they could play.
She’d be prepared to protect them another day.

Off in the distance beyond the town’s light.
Lurked the nightmare gang deep in the night.
Longing for the dreamer’s tresure to steal.
Return to Sleepytown, oh yes they will.
