Just a lil different take on the signs you see on the side of the road. behind those eyes, each there is a story. they can rise tho.
Temperament is patience,
not the patience of a patient,
lame dying dead we lay this,
frail and fragile is the word,
like the homeless in their lil cardboard world,
spreading out there fingers for trinkets of change,
and booze to blame,
what got you there to begin with anyways,
to spread this world like contagious disease,
thank God I’m immune to this contamination,
so hope it to be,
lost my house,
lost my car,
lost my family,
will the blame be on me,
hopefully it will be worth it cuz I cant look back,
I wont once I’ve started my task,
but instead I’ll leave trinkets of memories,
in hope for they may get me back,
not too easily,
not much seen,
but I’m not alone,
For I am strong,
you see?
please have faith in me,
and as signs you see on the side of the streets,
God bless,
and God bless me,
but I don’t need your change,
I don’t need you shame,
I just need you to watch,
for nothing stays the same.
