To mock me to begin with is a deed I see as unkind.

If you threaten me with your silence
then, I’ll threaten you with my words.
To intimidate me in the first place
is an action quite absurd.

If you ridicule me with your mouth
then, I’ll ridicule you with my mind.
To mock me to begin with
is a deed I see as unkind.

So, since you shut your mouth
I will open your eyes.
While you patronize me slowly
I will give you a surprise.

Cutting me down to size
a little bit each day.
Just a routine game
you like to play.

And since you’re having fun
why should I stop the madness?
You don’t see the real harm
or the root of my sadness.

So I shall take you on your offer
and we will see who comes out on top.
Blind, deaf, and mute we shall be
until you are ready to stop.
