deep blue on Jun 7, 2009

Visions and wisdom from the sky reflecting upon the extent of human folly.

High flying birds just soar

Never knowing we are so bored

Separate strange ways

Worlds beyond each other

Sweet blue sky, where wings are tried

Realms of being beyond ordinary

Restless in our pursuit

Carbon monoxide in exhaust

Ozone hole in the atmosphere

Abnormal climate changes are now here

Threatening our lives we pray

Mother Nature forgive our acts in nay

Forever the clear blue sky will be cherished

Existent till the time we vanished

Lovely poem. I love how you threw in elements of nature and elements of human error into the mix. We have hurt this earth in many ways….and some of the issues are not fixable.
