I view life as having its own sky, with innumerable stars spread across its vast expanse; revolving around it is Love, like the earth that revolves around the sun.
The sky of life is partial to no star;
Its glorious sun shines ever warm and bright,
While like the eagles flying skyward, free,
Blithe spirits move, faltering not in flight.
The stars of hope and faith and charity
Are those that are but mostly spoken of,
But there are countless other stars to watch –
Living fragments of the force of Love.
Clouds may conceal the grandeur of the sun,
Only for it to come up once again
To demonstrate its pure, celestial worth,
After the falling of life’s dampening rain.
And if one dreams of things that seem remote,
It is because ones soul sees with an eye
Scanning the vast expanse of time and space
For that sweet vision that it may come by.
Somewhere within the precinct of ones life,
There lies a goal that someday one may find;
Reality begins but with a dream,
Germinating in the searching mind.
The sun must rise and set in its own time,
And rise again to claim its place above;
The sky of life can boast of its own sun –
The warming presence of the force of Love!
