A gentle poem about winter and the snow.

Snow drops on my window pane,

Their gentle patter keeps me sane,

Each one cascading,

Until finally they start fading,

A blanket of white covers the ground,

Nothing is making a sound,

The snow faerie smiles upon the nether,

Before dancing away light as a feather.

This was so sweet and poetic. I loved your choice of words. It makes me think of some faraway fantasy world.

I liked this. Snow dancing away as light as a feather. Better than the slow melt into brown soggy slush that we get in reality!
