Coats, hats, and mittens

To keep you snug like a baby kitten

Snow crystals quench your chapped lips

Brisk with a bit of a nip

Transparent diamonds trickle from the downy clouds

Prevailing and proud-

Oh, how I love this time of year

To gaze at the snowflakes of winter cheer.
