Earth’s Hymn.

Take your time through these woods.

Stop once in a while, close your eyes.

Listen to whatever you hear.

Listen, and sort out the sounds.

This is the sound of the Earth.

This is the song of God.

‘The Sound of the Earth’ – aaaah – how beautiful. Amos, you’ve cracked it again. This is a work of art. Pity you didn’t put up an image – I think it would have made it even more special.

Beautiful – life is very short, so we all need to stop and smell the roses and listen to the sounds…

    Short and lovely poem.
Song of God- yes, if only the human kind knows how to listen.

The world seems to move at break-neck speed these days – we should all slow down and listen now and then.

I like your poem it captures imagery very well.
Just for the record, I’m not liberal nor conservative. I’m of no political party but I am registered as an independent so I can vote in the primaries but to be honest I am against political parties. I don’t like Ron Paul or any other of our presidential candidates for that matter so that is a moot point.
I’m sorry for what happened to your wife as I feel no one should have to go through that regardless of their points of view.
