This life we lead is like an unending song wherein we sing to Creator in the form of experiences we gain as we move through various phases… The meaning of life is contained in every single expression. Here is my little poetic song of creation…

I am but a singer with a microphone on stage,

Singing my song in his spitting image.

Each word I sing is from the heart,

I pray forever may it not part.

I sing the song as I dance the dance,

Words to my melody at experience glance.

My words from the song are heartfelt and true,

I dedicate my love to many a few.

May my cadence never Interrupted be,

Plagal for the Creator, Amen to thee.

May my Mixed end forever see,

A world in unison and in Perfect harmony.

Echo my melody in your song and dance,

Love my music without a backward glance.

Friendship and love is One with me,

Singing for me comes naturally.

The world we live in has no boundaries,

Its the Creators playground with many countries.

Wherever you come from and wherever you go,

The song that we sing is an extempore.

With the eternal shoulder to cry every tear,

The infinite jewel to adorn every crown I wear.

May my song be like the unending brooks that babble,

Like the wayward wind that’s sifting through rubble.

For the meaning of life is contained in every expression,

In the infinite forms that exist in all of creation.

I dedicate my Song of Life to a phenomenon so free,

May my words become a part of Life’s HIStory.

Wow. I guess I hardly glanced at the photo and plunged right in. I took it all as religious sentiment, i.e., Jesus is the man, the power behind and the reason why you sing. Then I read the other comments, looked at the picture and read it again. I still like my interpretation better. Don’t look at the picture and try it yourself. Must be something to it because I’m about the least religious guy you’ll ever meet. And NO, I do not think my interpretation was somehow divinely inspired. Not this skeptic. Who exactly was the author thinking about when the poem was written?

I liked this nice work from you!

    Hi Troost,

Thank you for your feedback and you guessed right, it is a poem to the Creator but I have used the thoughts of Michael Jackson to write it… His most direct words have been used in the poetic form of the last stanza.
I chose the picture of Michael Jackson after the poem was written to make it look as if he was giving his words back to the world through a poem.

I miss Michael, but I know he will live on. Nice poem, almost as if he wrote it himself! :)
