Sonnet.

Some dew drops joined to form a gentle spring
Which was a welcome Joy to all it met
It sang a song which washed away regret
Which every heart that drank of it would sing
It bore its tidings as it met the world
Its warmth was oft encouraged by the sun
And flowers listened to the tales it spun
As lovers’ hearts so often it unfurled
It bore the laughter of the children’s play
Its sparkle took reflections of each smile
That dreamed a dream if only for awhile
And shared a moment with a spring that day
And in the end it bore its destiny
And joined the other dew drops in the sea
