To prevent another Hiroshima, keep nonviolent coercion alive.

I.

Satan, you are going too far.

Mysterious death of thousands of children

Those whom radiation killed

Will not their ghosts ask you

And what you won’t answer

Is the only thing they will ask

What you do is the only thing

You should not do

II.

Super Powers’ threat I hear

And they hear me

I know what they are doing

They are conspiring

They are inventing false god-

Nuclear bomb piled on nuclear bomb

Why not come to the point

Nonviolence must act decisively

III.

Social, economic boycott

Marching, picketing, blockade of nuclear plants

Will convert the opponent

And Gandhis could be trusted

The spring will come

I am certain

To disintegrate ruler’s power

Follow Gandhi

I don’t want another Hiroshima

So I keep nonviolent coercion alive

To keep the Earth alive

To keep Earth’s Poetry alive
