I have lost everything,

And gained so much more,

And now I know what I want for,

And in,

My life.

I have never been this happy,

Nor have I ever been this alive.

I have so many to thank for this change,

And one in particular that I am thanking now.

I have met two people,

Mother and daughter,

Whose life at home, so much mirrors my own,

That I have not been the same sinc I came into contact with them.

I have feelings for the mother,

The daughter is like my younger sibling,

And I had no way of knowing,

That my life would be forever different,

And I thank the good Lord,

that I am here today for this gift.

I am the center of calm,

And I have no more reason to hate.

I take one day at a time,

Taking the natural flow of life,

And letting it surround me,

Flow through me,

Invoigorating my soul,

And making me complete.

I have made it this far,

And I have no reason to doubt.

I shall never give up,

I shall forever persevere,

And I shall be forever different.

This begins a new book to my life,

And nothing to lose,

Yet everything to gain.

This is my life,

I have made it what it is,

And I enjoy every minute of it,

Forever lost in contemplation,

And forever calm.

I grow more mature,

As time goes on.

I am the center of conflict,

Calm as the morning rain,

I am in my prime,

My elements aligned.

This is the story of my life,

And from now there is hope,

And I shall persevere.
