A little poem about love. A poem showing the essence of serenity. One of my older pieces.
Serene, clean. A tree, in my thoughts, stands tall. Its leaves turn green, they turn orange. They fall. They’re blown away. A sudden reaction, I awake. It was but a dream. And I awake lying next to someone, a warmth is felt open my eyes and you are there. You’re laying there and I gaze straight into your eyes. Kiss your lips, and realize; The tree in my dream was me. The leaves that were blown away were my struggles. My past. Your breath, blew them away, I’ve found peace with you.
