A mysterious stranger comes knocking at my door.

A stranger came knocking at my door.

It was twelve o’clock.

Rap, rap, rap.

The stranger said,

“Let me in.”

I began to shiver.

Who was this person?

Another minute passed

And the stranger knocked again.

He said a little louder,

“Let me in!”

I hid behind the couch.

I was shaking in fear.

The stranger knocked once more.

This time he shouted,

“LET ME IN!”

Now I was angry.

Now I was mad.

How dare my sleep be disturbed.

I shouted at the stranger,

“GET LOST.”

Silence.

More silence.

The stranger left.

I opened the door.

A package was on my doorsteps.

A note was on the outside of the package.

It read,

“Happy Thanksgiving”

Your friend Hal.

Oops,

Bonehead.

Thy name is me.

I sure did not expect the end to be like that. Maybe I did since you wrote it. Fun and different.
