Hyperbole: The earth is in recollection over its wide variety of life-forms. She thinks she is in a global extinction crisis, and her preservation is the responsibility of everyone.

With friendly-bacteria in tens of thousands
seeds, spores, and pollen filled air,
microbes, and biospores in my wetlands
my terrestrial life was found

While phytoplankton, algaes, plants
found in oceans and in lakes
kept-gasses flowing-in the natural current,
and regulated my chemical’s “Sound”.

Magnetic fields and atmosphere
threw in a double share- to -
give the ozone a protective spear
for the temperature-in my whole background.

But pollution marched right in
and life’s seeds it contaminates,
dumps pesticides and toxic waste in-
the waters underground.

Then global-warming raised its head,
and the temperature shoots up high,
turns greenhouse’s safety blanket–red
sending it to a big impound.

Unresponsive is how I am now,
with my glaciers melting down,
offset my delicate balance
sends my ecosystems to life’s battleground.

But well within your control
is erasing of the poison,
and free from contamination toll
is a life that all can live,
to save my vibrant life-forms
and help-me-to turn myself around.
