When troubles hit, the family, find the strength to drive on through
And even though the road is hard, there is a path that’s laid for you
To take in all the problems, and analyse them in your mind
To seek the answers to your questions, hoping that you’ll find
A reason for those events that are so painful in your heart
And hope that at the end of it, a future you can start
When a sick child comes through the pain, your hearts won’t be so sad
And all the pain you go through, will just be a memory that you had
Never underestimate the strength within a child
To fight for all the life that’s theirs, they’re not so meek and mild
And as for all the family, your courage, will be strong
And together you will make it, although the road is long
Each night I say a prayer to all the spirits of this plane
To watch over all sick children, and help to ease their pain
To ask that we can watch them grow, to an old lady or old man
And through the years protect them the very best we can
A life that is so precious as each single breath you take
Protect the children’s spirits, for our lives are for their sakes
