Stress affects everyone in business, but this character runs into more problems by running away from the problems.

Feeling stressed
It’s all too much
I made a smart selection
Packed my bags
And made the move
To the new town of Reflection

My flat is small
The people odd
With their inverted names
So Lee is Eel
And Stan is Nats
(though Hannah stays the same!!)

And Ned is Den
The boy’s a yob
He worships his own Dog
I got fed up
With regal drinks
And endless games of flog

I’ve had enough
I came to live –
To evil that inverts
Feeling stressed?!
Now even that
Has changed to just – desserts!!

This is really interesting portrayal of a really complicated emotion, the inverted names and titles are a creative and awesome expression.

Thanks for sharing this with me. I probably wouldn’t have noticed all the palindromes if I\’d read it earlier. Interesting “reflections”

We all can relate to this. Me? I would like to go off bondee jumping off a cliff to relieve myself from stress, no kidding! Good poem, Revivor. Loved the flow of it.
