Our role and destiny in history.

THE STRUGGLE

Decayed – evil lands,

From thence were we given ban,

Pushed far – seeking stand,

On hopes and prayers we can,

To seek finer things in man;

On far, pristine shores,

Our exodus and the wars,

Pulled to mind our mores,

As we began to keep stores,

Finding path and steering course;

Europe faded mind,

As we began our own climb,

Gathering just kind,

Ideas and hopes we wrote fine,

Principles for all mankind.
