Poem about a teacher who is not respected by his students.

The students are unruly.

They shows no signs of respect.

I feel that I am facing

The power of reject.

The students do not listen.

My lecture is a bust.

The students question my authority.

They wonder who they can trust.

I hope to gain their confidence

One of these fine days.

But until the time has come,

They better prepare for some unpleasant grades.

I think you’re going about it all wrong
to gain these young folks respect

Throw a temper tantrum or two
and you’re attention they won’t neglect

Teach them about the facts of life
that if you don’t work, you won’t eat

This will start them to thinking
I can’t go around in life being a deadbeat

    Then you’ll gain full control
    of the situation at hand

Of teaching all these young adults
    that life has many demands….haha

I did like you’re poem by the way….Well done Steve!
