They are up there now

Are they one or are they two

The moon and the sun

The brightener the comforter

Both up there day and night

Around the Earth

One hidden, one our delight

Yet they are both good,

But only one is noticed

They are forever divided 

By gravity’s poor plight

There is a deeper meaning to these lovely lights

Can you see it?

It is our “society” 

Divided by ourselves

In our own way

Seperated by greed and the evils of the night

But you can break away 

Hold close your friends

Hold your enemies closer

And remember that we are here to live life

Not to survive it
