This is a poem describing the rain, the effects of it on the earth, farmers & other people and animals.
The thirsty summer, full of vain
Gets highly appreciated by the rain.
Cute little children jumps and splashes in the rain,
And the ills get free from their pain.
The excited birds start their melodious song,
Along the roads of HongKong.
Little children dirty their lil clothes,
And get a heavy thrash from their mother, alone!
Farmers feel the happiest in the world,
Their crops grow high from their whorls,
The dry flower when touch the first drop,
Dances with some heavy hops.
People everywhere, with a blushing smile on their face
Cries out “Thanks God, for the lovely rain!”.
Nothing can quench the thirst of earth,
Except for the lovely drops of love.
