No matter what our differences we should never let anything keep us down.

Magdalena always felt out of sorts
whenever she walked into the witches court.
All of the other witches were bigger than she.
For her height, when measured in inches, came to barely three.
Magdalena (Mags for short) may have been short in stature, but she was very big at heart
and Mags never let her height keep her from doing her part.
What Mags lacked in height, she made up for in other ways.
She tried to never let her height ruin her days.
The court of witches always talked about the same old things;
who they were turning into frogs and other ways that they could be mean.
But little Mags was not that way
she did what she could do to make everyone’s day.
Mags was kind, considerate, and thought of everyone as a friend,
until they gave her a reason to think different then that’s where things would end.
To the other witches Mags was an outcast
all because it was her height that they just couldn’t quite get past.
While all of the other witches were light green in colour with huge warts on their noses,
Mags was pale in colour, with clear skin, and a secret about which no one knows.
When the meeting adjourned Mags returned to her room
and practiced her magic instead of flying on her broom.
She came up with potions on how to make people care again.
She came up with spells about showing people how to love again.
When Mags was done with her potions and spells for the night
Mags went out for her nightly flight.
What no one knew is that Mags did not use a broom.
Her secret was that she used tiny wings when she flew.
You see Mags father was a warlock while her mother was a fairy.
And because of her mother all of the witches became wary.
Sop Mags father raised her as a witch.
While her mother, in secret, showed her that the world was full and rich.
Every night with her father’s blessings, Mags flew out
met her mother, and practiced tirelessly without a single pout.
