Yesterday the VA doctor clipped away this infected toe nail of mine. You could say that the toe nail kinda made me feel like a troll and that is where the inspiration for this silly poem came from.

The Toe Nail Caper

The ugly old troll
Had a toe nail too big
It stuck out way too far
And got caught on everything
Stumble and fall he did everyday
Causing a ruckus along the way
Then a silly fairy saw his plight
And decided that nail should take flight
So while he was sleeping
She snuck right on up
With wave of her wand
And a big pile of fairy dust
She was soon flittering away
With a toe nail bigger than herself
Hiding it deep in the woods
She soon felt guilty of herself
To think of what to do
She went to her kitchen
Began baking and baking
Cause that was when she did her best thinking
Soon she had many many cup cakes
Yet still no idea did come
Then a great growl of something
Came shaking her very floor
The troll was awake
And dancing with joy
So much that all fairy land
Houses were shaking to the core
Something had to be done
So silly little fairy got all her friends
They brought all the cup cakes
To float right by that ugly troll
They smelled so so good
Troll followed them
All the way to the wood
There he happily ate and went on his way
.
