Numbers on Triond.

When the numbers on Triond views begin to dribble in so slow,
when inspiration doesn’t care to come around,
and creative talents begin to ebb instead of flow.

We sometimes wonder what awful thing can happen next,
to make a writer’s talent halt and cease to flow.
What could be the cause of this terrible, hateful hex?

Could it be we work so hard our numbers to improve,
we focus on the wrong things and lose our creative groove?

We scheme and plan and think of things no normal human ever would,
and  sometimes post some really awful stuff, in hopes of turning out a
piece of work
that is so fine and oh, so good, that we’ll make it big on

Phill my friend, you tell it like it is. You could be talking directly to me.Sometimes I have to rack my brain to come up with anything. I always do dredge up something but more often than not it isn’t what I would like it to be.Oh well, we have to keep the juices flowing. In my opinion something is better than nothing.

Each word a writer shares gives inspiration somewhere. That is why we write and publish and share and comment with at Triond. We create words that creates friends that creates threads and form WEBS. WE ARE PUBLISHED WRITERS friends. Let’s continue to inspire and comment for growth and improvement so that we become well known quality writers. We are Triond. Let’s make it a better place! This poem is a perfect example for a perfect start. Thank you for sharing.

I am sure you echo the thoughts of many Triond writers. Maybe you need to take a short break to recharge your batteries. That has worked for me.

My friend I just finished reading a short story of yours based upon a childhood experience. Look within yourself, I’m sure there are hundreds more. What was it like to go to a flat land to work ? What was it like to return home to the woods? Each member of Triond has hundreds of little bits of their lives seeking to be told.

Enjoyed the poem and can commissrate with you. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just sit down and write something meaningful? No. We have to get out of bed and jot down notes lest we forget by morning. In my judgment writing is harder than ditch digging, it just doesn’t hurt the back as much.
