There’s a thin line between truth and lies…

What truth do you speak of

The truth of justice

Your truth of lies

What is it that you seek

Too many glass doors

Shattering in the dark

Falling, smashing to the ground

Scattered pieces of truth

Lost forever in lies

Blind truth searching

Stumbling around the lies

Cold hard truth

Butchered, mangled in lies

Chained truth crawling

Hammered, wallowing in lies

Again, what is it that you seek

Your truth does not exist

Begone with your lies

There is nothing for you here

The lines between truth and lies can get blurred. Enjoyed the way you weaved your words together, Shirley.

You’re right, what is one’s truth is not always the truth for others.

It gets harder for many to discern truth from falsehood, as lies are often dressed up with just enough facts to disguise them.

Came back for a second read. This piece is quite relevant right now, esp with what is going on at Triond.
