A poem about the quest for truth.
To seek the truth is quite a quest
Though it is long we do our best
To find a lie is an easy play
But to find the truth takes more than a day
Sometimes truth takes a hidden form
To find real truth could bring us harm
Though half a truth might be a line
On half a truth we sometimes dine
All the truth is best for some
But all in truth we haven’t won
One day we find that truth is due
For time is all and is so true
We haven’t learned a lot in life
What did we gain from all that strife?
