You say you want the truth
But all you ever give me are lies
You say you need the proof
But you simply hide it from my eyes

You make me the liar
And you think you’re just an angel
Making my ears burn red with fire
Painting me like such a devil

You think you’re just so perfect
While you make me seem like only me
Like I were a just another reject
Someone that you’d rather not see

Your eyes they twinkle with the smirks you hide
Your voice is full of over confidence
Deceiving those with what you’ve lied
You’re an actor who lies for their only defense

You claim that you take no part in it
But still you’re the one I find with the cookie jar
You try and trick us all by lying of it
Your lies are off from the truth by far

And out of them you make them fools
They all treat you like a king
They all abide to your rules
And they do it all without knowing

But I know the truth
And so do you
I have the proof
