Every day mothers show unfathomable love for their children. They find joys in the simple things they do, their smiles, nurturing, and raising them.

Gently and calmly

Mothers raise

And nurture their young

Whether its through natural

Child-birth

Or artificial insemination

They take on

These responsibilities

With pride

- – -

Come to think about it

Not all is pleasant

But they find the love

In their hearts to be

The bedrock of our society

- – -

Many discover

That they aren’t alone

With their gifts

But in their communities

They can depend

On others to help

Raise their kids

- – -

They exercise care

In treating their children right

Even if their fathers

Aren’t around to help

- – -

Mothers are perfect vessels

You can see them

Carefully carrying their young

In slings

Or pushing them in prams

Around parks

- – -

Despite this work

They beam with delight

When they see their children

At play

- – -

Most mothers

Are greatly comforted

Many times over

As they give

And receive

A special kind of love
