The Unwanted Guest

A poem.

How would one get rid of the unwanted guest?

You would surely have to try your best.

Subtle hints here are there,

Little patience left to spare.

Bad food and conversation,

Vain efforts driving you to exhaustion.

Fake laughs and plastered smiles,

Weak excuses of being busy with your files.

Those loud snores and bad bathroom conventions,

Eating up your serenity, without any considerations.

Just when you think you can’t handle the situation,

You are struck by the solution.

Packing up your essentials,

You go out on vacation!

Just had one the other day. tried everything but going on vacation. In the end i tried making the most out of it maybe time will go quickly. It didnt.

I wrote this when i had a lot of unwanted guests in my house! I finally gave up trying to adjust and hung out at my friends place. My idea of a vacation! hehhe
