This one is about doing the right thing even if it is seen as wrong. I feel mankind will evolve better without religion being passed as fact. I like the stories but it should be under fiction. Religion is like a truly die hard fan club of a book, but this book has undertones that motivate political issues, extremism, and even instigate war. This will be the last religion base poem for a while it is time to change tune.

I want, to be the world’s hero

But the villain has got you all fooled

My power is fighting ridiculous credo

But the credo is how you are ruled

My nemesis is very much older

When I was young didn’t know what to say

So I gave the villains the cold shoulder

They grew so much stronger, as I stayed away

And now I am here to rescue you all

They tell all your friends that I am evil

You fold your hands and pray for my downfall

And all I am trying to do, is be your hero

I am seen threw your steamin eyes

As heathen a demon a blasphemous man

But this hero’s been demonized

By an evil that has a devious plan

It is the oldest trick in a comic book

To make the hero seem like the villain

You could see the sham if you would look

The bad in the bible is hidden…

…in plan sight

You just might

Read it tonight

Look for the bad in the bible it’s written

For you will never be free with religion

They want you to obtain

What they say as law

For their own gain

And they want it all

Trouble is they want too much from you

They want to control what you think and do

They want you to fight the wars

Get rid of gays

And change the laws

Stake claim to their science

While ignoring the flaws

But I am the hero

For what the job calls

I don’t get up and do it

For all of the loves

A hero must fight

With all of his might

To do what is right

Even if hatred ignites

So you may not want me

But I am your hero

And forever I shall be

Fighting ridiculous credo
