Leaving me to wonder is anybody home…

Everybody in Congress is talking

Nobody in the Senate is listening

Congress is calling for a recess to go to lunch

The Senate is taking a break to play musical chairs

Congress is back from lunch, asking the Senate is the glass half full

The Senate, now short of one chair, is asking Congress is the glass half empty

Where is the voice of reason?

They don’t care. They care for nothing but filling their own pockets and be hanged to everyone else.
