The Temptations Prediction.
The sunshine is shining/I can see the ray/I can make plans/To take my girl out to play/I’m not asking the sunshine/To please go away/Because there’s no guarantees/ When it will return.
Even, if she have found another/I still wouldn’t wish for rain/Because hiding my tears doesn’t hide my pain.
I just want to know/If it’s going to be cold/Because I’m alerted/There won’t be no snow/Because the Temptations predicted that sometime ago/But I will need money/If I don’t have the fame/Because it’s hard dating my baby/When her hair might get wet/And I could never love another/If it’s her I still need.
Because in my heart/She’s my everything/And she have made me realize/That beauty’s only skin deep/So don’t matter the weather/The girl’s alright with me/ And I ain’t too proud to say or ask her/Please don’t leave me/Because she has a smile/That shines brigther than a candle/And with her loving me/There’s no weather I can’t handle
