This poem is about people in general refusing to see the whole picture of what we as a whole have become, and allowed to become in this century.

Through space and time

with grace and wine,

all things appear to be benign.

Everything is the same,

but looks to be changed.

No one knows where,

and no one knows

who they are.

The idea is to hide,

and humbly abide

until something can give,

making it easier to live.

I don’t know the answer,

but I know we must try.

Anything that is gotten

has to be gotten boldly.

I am sorry to say,

there isn’t much

in this day and time,

that is truly fair.

So tell me -

who out there really cares?

A plan in the making

is a very good thing.

We need to be able to see

the whole picture

of what is happening

in our century.

I agree, things have gotten

way out of hand.

Maybe some day,

things will not be this way.

We have to get back on track,

 realizing we have a purpose,

and that is a known fact.

Change has to come

through we the people.

There is no time

to allow our minds to become feeble.

This life doesn’t have to be bad.

We choose to make it that way,

so therefore, we choose to live a sad

existence with the least we could be,

refusing to see

that we all could live in peace and harmony.
