The wisdom of the ages

Is passed in all the words

As the human being strives

Forever to be heard

Little understanding

In the liquid flow of time

That the words will mean so little

When the thought is left behind

And what is true for one

Is not the same for all

As life is ever moving

Onward to the enthrall

And light knows only light

No explanation of itself

It simply gains momentum

Moves on and up and out

What was and is will be

The dawning of a truth

As man moves on beyond itself

The earth comes home to root
