One of my earliest attempts in poetry. Notice the emphasis of "S" and "Sh" on each line.

In the stillness of a moonless night.

She anticipates a split-second of delight.

Watching, waiting for you to show up

Coz her heart skips faster and never seems to stop.

Shivering in her sleeveless top,

She looked up.

Clutching her sweatshirt in sheer patience.

“Persist and pursue!” dictates her conscience.

Shimmering, silver streaks so high

Sparkling, glittering, staining the superior sky.

What mystique, how elusive can you be?

I wonder if you can share some with me.

On her face, she feels the kiss

of what seemed like the coolest breeze.

She dreamt of splendid castles made of seashells,

And sighs at the sounds of tinkling bells.

Oh how she wished shining star would drop by tonight!

To make her solemn evening just right.
