The witches cackled loudly,

“It’s time to have some fun.

Let’s cause a little mischieve.

Let’s make the kiddies run and run.”

The witches sprinkled witch dust

Upon the heads of the candy seekers.

The trick or treaters slumped around

Becoming weaker and weaker.

Next, the trick or treaters turned into little bats.

They started flying around with crooked witches’ hats.

“What fun we are having,” shouted Witch Matilda Bea.

“Let’s turn them into Gremlins and have them over for tea.”

Ten grouchy Gremlins next appeared together.

They screamed and complained about the chilly weather.

“I cannot stand their yelling.”

Said Witch Mathia Dew.

“Let’s put them in a pot,

And we’ll have them all for stew.”

But Witch Grizzella Oakley shook her head at that suggestion.

“Eating little children will give me indigestion.”

Finally, the witches turned the Gremlins back to kids.

“Let’s go to a Halloween Party.”

And that’s what the witches did.

P.S. The children ate too much candy that night.

In the morning, they turned into pigs.
