An Eerie Poem of The Wolf.

The Wolf

As the wind blows through the night,
Feel the power of the creatures bite.
Journey back to the age of rhyme,
Journey back to the wolves of time.

Past the trees, where the day is dark,
A woodpecker pecks through a piece of bark.
Silent goes the bird as life passes away.
Fleeing the wolf, fleeing the day.

Fast and swift goes a blur,
Brushing around you with its fur.
When he’s ready he’ll attack,
Using knife-like teeth to pierce your back.

Beware the wolf, and your path is straight,
Beware the wolf, or you’ll lose your bait.
Beware the wolf, when you hear its howl,
Beware the wolf, his movements foul.
Beware the wolf, through night or day,
Guard your path and move your way.
