This is a poem I wrote about the fictional world of Neopia that is the basis of an online popular game called Neopets.
I sign in and view the world of Neopia
A sigh of bliss comes out, for I am in Utopia!
A click over here and then a few clicks there
Will take me to a special place where…
I can buy a book about Spyders on the moon
Then fish for a while in a lost lagoon
Stealing treasures from a frozen worm
Battling a clown as I watch it squirm
Worshipping an ancient shrine
Being healed by a faerie so fine
Spinning a wheel and winning a prize
Bashing a Kass and watching as it flies
Helping a Hasee collect some fruit
Feeding my petpet that is so dang cute!
All this and more in the world I love to play
I am so glad it will be here every day
