I open my eyes real wide

To take a good look around

So many bad things going on

So much wrongdoing can be found

People living on the streets

Sleeping it rough and cold

Wheres the fairness in this life

If they have no love or no one to hold

Young girls out selling thier bodies

Not always done with their choice

What gave anyone the right 

To take away that young girls voice

Children being abducted and raped

Then just left for dead

Nonses and rapist

Should be sentenced to death

For the things that go on in their head

Dangerous convicts on the loose

Escapes on the run

An innocent boy as young as eleven

Being shot down dead by a gun

So even though the treasures of this world

Make it a beautiful place

Sadly the cruelty and anger of mankind

Has its beauty all replaced
