The yellow Sun from the East

Emerging from the eastern Hills everyday

As it makes its daily journey to the west

Following the same old path it has towed

Faithfully since the dawns of time

Its yellow beams brightening the world

Adding glory to a world waking up from slumber

Yellow birds singing welcome songs in joyful chorus

As the yellow sun beats the ground

Infusing the power of life on planet earth

Resonating with the yellow wild flowers

 Teaming with the buzz of honeybees

Embroiled in the hunt for yellow nectar

In the comfort of the yellow sweet petals

Positioned to attract more bees and butterflies

Moving steadily to the west

Getting  hotter and hotter as it gets overhead

Sending the Agama lizards to the shades

Crickets into the meadows and

Cheetahs into the woodlands
