There’s a chill in the air.

Winds howl and leaves tremble.

Clouds move into the sky.

The sun disappears.

A young boy feels a sudden raindrop.

One drop is followed by many.

The young boy seeks cover.

There is no place to hide.

The raindrops come down in torrents.

The young boy is drenched.

The sun comes out of her hiding.

She feels sorry for the boy.

She glows warmly and dries the boy’s clothes.

The young boy smiles and says, “Thank you.”

The sun smiles back and beams once more.

It’s turning out to be a glorious day.
