The contemplation of someone weighing his or her demise.

In a time to come
I will give a mind
to think of those
I have loved,
those I have not.

I know the need
to make peace
will be stronger
than the fears
and doubts
of all my years.

One by one
lights will fade
and weave with me
in beams two beings;
two lingering things.

One true light
within a night,
for only then
will I visit that
Place
and be ready.

The title lead me well. The write was deep enough to apply elsewhere too. Well done.

So lovely – it’s gentle like the flow of a beautiful river. So nice!

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,
