there is a frenzy

in the air

the energy

is trying to turn

into a messy havoc

so throw your hands in the air

do not allow yourself

to fall into that

frenzy of emotion

that is not your own

breathe and i will

breathe with you

and you will see

the frenzy around you

but it will not be

within you

allow yourself to know

it is there

allow yourself to see it

for your eyes are open

but you have the strength

to not allow yourself

to be overcomed by it

to allow it to embrace you

that frenzy in the air

for that frenzy in the air

is not your own
