Everything is not always good or bad, black or white. There is a middle ground where everything can change or be different.

Too much of a good thing can backfire

causing a nightmare from a desire

moving too fast can cause a crash

everything can be lost in a flash

resentment can fester and grow

and in time like a bomb will blow

little can be won over night

nothing can be won with a fight

racism is not an all white thing

blacks inflict the same kind of sting

laws do not always work as they should

they often protect the bad instead of the good

borrowing and never repaying a friend

can often make a friendship end

medication is great when properly used

but can destroy life when it’s abused

being too giving can sometimes lead

to being used by those full of greed

telling lies all the time can be

viewed as a sign of insincerity

revenge can not right a wrong

it’s the forgiving one who is strong

we must learn where to draw the line

so that all we do will turn out fine

Nice poem.A middle of the road policy, giving up extremes on either side.Thanks.
