As children we believe what we’re told; as adults we have the choice to believe.
Keep your good childhood memories in your heart.

There is a Santa Claus, I say

He visits every Christmas Day.

Through the brisk air and starry-blue night

Santa Claus looks for the gleaming light.

With his gear, sleigh, and reindeer’s in tow

Santa Claus braves the white-icy snow.

Traveling to the beautiful earth-

In celebration, of Jesus birth.

Santa climbs down the brick chimney

And places some gifts, under the Christmas tree.

Dolls for girls, and trucks for boys

Santa Claus delivers lots of toys!

Hot chocolate and marshmallows-

Santa Claus drinks with glee

And he always “Thanks,” me in my dreams.

There is a Santa Claus… I say,

He’s in my heart, everyday.

I grew up watching Santa’s movies…although I was thought not to believe in it. He seems like a nice guy, with a very nice wife and friends. I love him too ^_^

I’m not a Christain and as a child I never heard about Santa. But when I grew up I read and Santa.
    Your poem is nice.
